Diane Curtis is the President of Zonta International for the 2010-2012 biennium. She has been a member of the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley in California since 1980. She served as Governor of District 9, Chairman of the Convention Committe for the 1992 Convention in Hawaii, and has held all positions on the International Board except Treasurer.
Dianne wants the lives of those to whom we give service to improve. That improvement could be living free of fear, living healthy lives, ending violence against women and children, and building a better world full of love and peace.
She is committed to increase our membership, which she says "is vital to our ability to influence the status of women in the future."

The Zonta International Service Program for the 2010-2012 biennium include:
The Preventional of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV and Gender-Based Violence in Rwanda, a project in cooperation with UNICEF. Zonta International is providings $500, 000 to support this program.
The Elimination of Obstetric Fistula and the Reduction of Maternal and Newborn Mortality and Morbidity in Liberia, a project in cooperation with UNFPA. Zonta International is providing $500, 000 to support this program
The Safe Cities for Women Project for Women in Guatamala City, Guatamala and San Salvador, El Salvador, a project in cooperation with UNIFEM. Zonta International is providing $500, 000 to support this program.
The Zonta International Strategies to End Violence Against Women include:
A comprehensive strategy to end burns violence against women in Cambodia, Nepal and Uganda, a project in cooperation with the UNIFEM. Zonta International is providing $430,000 to support this project.
Security and Empowerment for Women and their Families: Ensuring a Gender-Responsive Humanitarian and Early Recovery Response in Haiti, a project in cooperation with UNIFEM. Zonta International is providing $200, 000 to support this project.
